Graphic design, both good and bad, is all around us. It’s everywhere we look and can’t be escaped except by closing our eyes. One can get a better understanding of the basics of graphic design by studying its elements and principles. Whether it’s a billboard or a box of cereal, a magazine ad or a TV commercial, a web site or logo, all of these things are examples of graphic design and somebody, somewhere, created them.
Multimedia design is the process and art of combining text and graphics and communicating an effective message in the design of logos, brochures, newsletters, posters, signs, and any other type of visual communication. The purpose of graphic design and visual communication (terms that are interchangeable) is to make this message as quick and as easy as possible because of the advent of interactive media, that use both visual images and sound, there are some incredible multidisciplinary opportunities available for today’s designer.
Primarily, graphic designing can be divided into two major areas: print and multimedia. Print includes desktop publishing, advertising, magazine design, publishing, corporate identity, logos, typography, package design, and print production. Multimedia includes television and film design, video production, computer games, interactive design, animation, TV graphics, film titles, and web design. Because of the advent of interactive media that use both visual images and sound there are some incredible multidisciplinary opportunities available for today’s designer. Graphic designers work for virtually all types of businesses, industries, and institutions.
I started my career back in 2003 as a full time employee and a freelance designer. During my career I have been a member of different design teams in several companies in Pakistan and a freelancer within and outside the country.
I loved to share ideas and design techniques. I possess strong communication skills and I believe that the ability to conceptualize Internet ideas is as important as the technical professionalism of a designer. I often have a lot of ideas that flow in my mind; usually I draw them on my sketch pad and then paste them on the wall. This is what I call giving life to my imagination.
My motto is not to confine the mind, as a person should do what he wants and work towards achieving his goals. This freedom of thought, a given project or an emerging idea presents me with ways to express my passion towards my work and wander innovatively in my profession. While creating site designs I try to work closely with the clients and pay attention to preliminary ground work.

I have a passion for creating web-interfaces, posters, and exploring different design tools and colors that would carry my own signature and style. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash (For Web Animation), Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Director, Poser, Zbursh, 3D Max Studio and a variety of other graphic programs and applications.
